Hello!

I am excited to be starting my first year at ASFM as the school has an amazing reputation for having an exceptional academic program and a welcoming community.  I have moved to Monterrey from Toronto, Ontario where I completed a specialist in English and a major in Psychology at the University of Toronto.  I then attended the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto to complete my Bachelor of Education degree.  After graduation I taught grade six for two years and Deaf education for the next two years.

I believe that as a teacher I have two main objectives, one is to ensure that each student reaches his/her own unique potential in a safe and caring environment.  The second is to teach students in such a way that the end product is a person who can think critically and independently and who can engage and apply their learning outside of my classroom.  As a teacher I must work hard for my students and make learning enjoyable and relevant and in return they will strive for and achieve the highest levels of success.

I am certain that this school year will be an amazing learning experience for myself as well as those I teach!

"I shall pass through this world but once. Any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. "
