Hi! I'm Celia Marcen.
I'm going to teach 6 & 7 Physical Education Girls Grades, and I would like to tell you some things about myself.
I was born in Zaragoza, a middle town in the north of Spain, and I graduated as a Physical Education Teacher in 1995, in the University of my city. I have a Bechelor Degree in Sociology and a Master in Education Sciencies (both in the U.N.E.D. University of Madrid). I'm doing the investigation for my Ph.D.degree in this days, about Phycologic and Social Factors involved in the sport Talents in Mexico.
I have been a Spain National Team athlet, from 1995 to 2001, in Race Walking events, participating in World Athletics Championships (Athens'97 and Sevilla'99), Race Walking World Cups (Podebrady'97 and Mezidon-Canon'99), European an University Games (www.iaaf.org/athletes/biographies).
I arrived to Mexico in 2003, and I have worked for the Tlaxcala, DF and Nuevo Leon Government like assessor in sport talents. I wrote a book about sport in Nuevo Leon (you can find it in www.efedeportes.com), and you can find in it much a lot of experience and feelings of many sport boy, girls and coaches of this State.
