According to the American Psychological Association (APA), Psychology is the study of the mind and behavior. The discipline of psychology embraces all aspects of the human experience — from the functions of the brain to the environments in which humans and other animals develop; from child development to aging. Psychology is a science based on a large body of social science and behavioral science research and which is expanding its boundaries to overlap with neuroscience and health science. Psychologists study two critical relationships: one between brain function and behavior, and one between the environment and behavior.
My goal, as the ASFM/HSMS Psychologist, is to contribute in the development of our school community by striving to maintain and promote the emotional and behavioral health of the students and by working cooperatively with different support services members and other departments (counselors, resource specialists, teachers, administrators, etc.) in varied interdisciplinary activities.

Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”
