With her second year off to an amazing start, Ms. Durrani has returned to teaching grade 6 english and social studies at La Huasteca campus. From Ottawa in Canada (the world's coldest capital!), she arrived in Mexico to live and work for the first time last year. An avid reader and ancient history buff, she has been fortunate to come from a very diverse background. Her parents are from two different cultures, she grew up in a third, and in her travels visited many more. These diverse experiences are one of the strengths that she brings into her classroom. As the year progresses, her odd jokes will begin to make more sense and everyone will definitely learn one new fact about sharks (her most loved and her most feared favourite animal).
