English/Social Studies Teacher Team Leader

I am in my third year as part of the ASFM community. I am from the Midwest in the U.S. I am looking forward to once again missing the frigid Wisconsin winters! I have fifteen years experience teaching middle level students. I have worked extensively at the state and national level with student leadership. My Masters of Education degree holds an emphasis on middle level education. I am passionate about providing developmentally sound educational practices for early adolescents. I am thrilled to teach internationally and am looking forward to sharing my gifts with this school as well as growing professionally and personally from students, parents, fellow staff members, administrators, and the entire ASFM and Monterrey community.

I look forward to continuing the exploration of all that Monterrey has to offer. I will be spending much time hiking in the mountains and canyon, taking advantage of cultural opportunities, and traveling throughout Mexico.
