Welcome to 6th Grade and welcome to the ASFM Huasteca campus! I am confident that you are going to have an excellent school year full of learning inside and outside of the classroom!
This year marks my 9th year teaching Math and Science internationally and my third year in Monterrey at ASFM. Before Mexico, I also taught in Korea, Mexico, Brazil, and most recently Paraguay. I love the challenge of living and working overseas and am very happy to be here in northern Mexico. In my free time, I enjoy learning languages, hiking, and enjoying all the great restaurants of Monterrey!
As a teacher, I believe that all students are capable of achieving success. I realize that students have different needs and abilities and that the classroom should be designed to meet each of these needs. I love hands-on classroom in which learning comes from the students themselves. I also believe that mathematics should be applicable and enjoyable! I love using cooperative learning in my classroom and activities that peek the students' interest.
Please feel free to e-mail me throughout the year with any questions or ideas. Let's have a great year!
